Lantana
This is the first year I have ever grown lantana in my garden, and I have two in one of the raised beds on the deck which receive part sun. One of them is red and yellow, and the other is bright pink and yellow. They have grown super well, and only need watering every other day. I love them because of their bright colors and big blooms, and their hardiness and how low-maintenance they are.
Lobelia
I have 8 lobelia plants in pots on the deck, four of them are blue-white, and the other four are purple. The blue-white ones are in a container with a red double begonia, and the purple ones are in a circular pot with a spike plant. They are really pretty in pots because they hang over the edge and create a beautiful hanging foliage. I love them because of their pretty and bright colors and how they don't need much care.
Geraniums
I have four geranium plants, two red ones by our front door, and two white ones down by the pool area. I have had them at our front door for many many years, and they provide height but also pretty color. They need watered every day, and they bloom the entire summer into fall. I love them because of their bright colors and it is very easy to care for.
Russian Sage
Russian Sage is a large, purple-colored, perennial that smells like a lavender-sage mix and is one of the easiest plants to care for. It attracts bees and other pollinators. I have three plants down in the pool garden, and they require almost no maintenance after the first year. They fill in really easily, and they give beautiful color all season. I love russian sage because of its very fragrant smell and bright purple color.
